EAST Extension Speaker Cabinets are built utilizing finger joint construction and solid pine lumber. No plywood cabs here. Solid pine is a very “musical” wood and instead of the cabinet acting as merely a container to house a speaker, it becomes a part of the actual tone generating process. The result is a much richer, warmer tone. Solid pine is certainly not the easiest wood to construct a cabinet from, but we feel it’s worth the extra effort. We think you will too.
