The Studio2 Head

This full featured (no simple volume and tone control here) 2 watt amp is a recording and small venue dream. Its tone, feel and volume are far bigger than the output power rating would have you believe. Being affectionately coined as having “Bober Watts”, this amp, as stated by many who have played it, “could cover most small gigs”.  Having a full compliment of tone and level controls, the sound pallet of this amp is quite extensive. With the right pairing of guitar, the possibilities range from the relative clean of the British “H” amps (think Pete Townshend) to the liquid legato of your favorite players of the infamous “D” amps, to tones so aggressive they might be tugging on the shirttails of Metal!  The amp also sports an internal load so that it can be run sans speaker. This will allow a signal from the variable line out, which is post output stage, to be sent to a larger amp via its effects loop return jack or even front panel input. This enables you to reproduce the full tone of the amp, including output tubes, at whatever power requirement is necessary.
